Your truly went on first day, first show of Golmaal 3 – no, no, not because I am a Golmaal or slap stick fan. You all know me too well to realize I prefer ‘level-headed’ movies over ‘brainless comedies’. I had disliked Golmaal 2, hence, spontaneity of Golmaal 3 felt redeeming.
Golmaal 3 pretty much puts up a good defense in favour of brainless comedies. Any decent movie must either tell a good story or provide good experience. Though there is not much to call a story in Golmaal 3, it does provide a good experience nevertheless.

i am yet to see the movie , i mean even the first two parts 😛 ..
Hey Arvind, doesn’t matter if you haven’t seen the first two. No connection in the series. 🙂
Happy Diwali !
Thank you, did you have a Diwali weekend off? (I had 4 days of fun. :D)
How are you dear Poonam..Long since we talked..Take care…
Hey Nimmy, how are you? Good to see you here. How is India treating you? The comment section of this post is sweet – I have all my old-timer friends here. Arvind, Dinsan, Ish and you. 🙂
Do write back. Email, if you want. Love, Poonam
I loved the first part, but the second one was way over the top. The characters had been built up beautifully in the first one, but were absolutely destroyed in the second one. My folks are gonna go watch it tonight, and are pretty psyched about it. For their good, I hope it’s worth watching. 😀
Hello, my boy, how are you? Let me know what your parents think of the movie. ANd I agree second was in dumps. Third is alright though. Once again, share feedback. Hope you had a good Diwali.
Btw, did those HP netbooks that you won arrive?
I’m good! How are you? And yep, will tell you what the parents think. They’ll probably like it, cuz they went to watch it with a mindset that it is just a mindless comedy. Sometimes you just don’t mind them. I had a good Diwali, and you? Are you in Pune only?
The HP netbooks? Haven’t you been reading the blog lately? The HP people just sent me the money for the machines, and I bought an Apple MacBook Pro with the money instead. And it’s been pretty great since then. 😀
Yes, am in Pune and had a good Diwali with sister. I read all your posts but I have a very bad memory. But now I remember. Mac is great, just make sure you never become a Mactard. 😛
I am also looking forward to watch this one ..!! .. A number of good reviews I have already came across …!!! 😉
I never liked 1 and 2, but this one sounds like fun. Will check it out, purely going by your review. If I don’t like it, I’ll call you to rant. Deal? 😀
Sure, you can rant, Radha. 🙂
Haha, will try not becoming one. It is difficult not to fall in love with these things, btw. Even more so when you’re a geek. =P
As I said on Twitter, Golmaal sequels must be released every diwali so that Tusshar Kapoor gets employment at least once a year. 😀 😀 haven’t seen this one yet..and if I do it won’t be in a movie theater.
and I forgot..love the new header.
Happy Diwali
Thank, I had a good one. How have you been, it’s been a long time since I have heard from you. 🙂
Beautiful story….. nice
“Golmaal 3 is a 2010 Bollywood comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty. A sequel to the 2008 film Golmaal Returns, the project stars majority of the actors from the previous film, including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade. New additions to the cast include actors Mithun Chakraborty and Kunal Khemu.[2] The film started shooting on 20 March 2010 in Mumbai, Goa and Hyderabad.[2] Golmaal 3 was released on 5 November 2010”
he hehe i laughed at one of the comments made that released on diwali so tushaar kapoor gets a job at least once a year nice one
HAvenot seen either of the golmaal versions ..
Bikram’s
Yeah, the comment is sort of true. 🙂
i did see movie as my son wanted to go and no company. it was a rainy day we went with little hope of geting ticket. but we could get them. its just a time pass one time u can see there are couple of good scenes more of ordinary scenes. overall one time u can njoy to see muthun in action was nice. lovers of easter year meeting at old age getting united by a orphan girl combining both families. both old people taking care of orphans is really good message. love is pure and hats off for that. at the end shetty has shown some clippings of shootings which should give us an idea of how stressful life of an artist is. overall I agree with you poonam good analysis from your end.
