Smita awarded me with what she called a PROXIMITY award:
This award is given to a blog that invests and believes in PROXIMITY – nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.
Muse too awarded me with this award, saying:
In our blogs, “nearness” is a relative term. Some of the people I feel “near” to are actually quite far away physically. A blogger I know who embodies these qualities is half a word away from me. I award this to Poonam, who deserved the award even before she invested so much time, energy, care, and love into designing and implementing an amazing blog awards program!
Vimal and Nimmy awarded me with Butterfly Award and a trophy, which was again to me by Smita by virtue of being on her blogroll.
Kiran, a Malaysian blogger, handed me this Friendship Embracelet.
Also, as you would know newsletter The Pakistani Spectator is doing rounds of Indian blogosphere for interviews. Here’s link to my interview that was published last week.
P.S: It has been posted as is from my Word document without linking and correcting smileys. 😦 Please forgive them. 😛

Hi Poonam – Totally agree, your blog is very inviting.. Look at how you have the entire gang tied together here! 🙂
Kudos!
I read your interview in their website. It’s a good interview and you gave good answers… I think you should post that interview on your blog for your readers because Iam not sure if all your readers will to their website to read your interview
I see that same company has posted a comment on my blog too asking for an interview..but looking at the number of questions they ask, I guess Iam gonna give it a slip for now….
@All: Thank you, guy for your wishes!
@Sakhi: YUo have a large heart to forgove them for such a shoddy job. 🙂
@Nimmy: THank you for the awards, I will aadd it in the list. I am honoured.
@amreekandesi: Glad you read and liked my interview! I thought no one was interested. 🙂 And thank you for offering me another award! I am not sure if I deserve it, but it is certainly a motivation to blog. 🙂
@Praneshachar: Thank you! TO me it looks as if you keep my blog going. 🙂
@Kiran: Anyone who’s read the little-known interview is a darling to me. 🙂 Glad you liked it.
@Amyth: You blog so on and off these days when it seems to me you have most interesting things to tell at this point of your life. 😦 But nevertheless, I am glad to still have you on my blogging circle, you have perhaps commented in this space after a year.
@Dev: Arre! I am impressed. You read my interview! 😛 Okay, some fine day, I will post it on my blog too. 🙂
