These are beautiful! They look professional, but also friendly and very creative. Does Chirag get best blog badge award? 🙂 Too bad “Best Blogging Project Creator” was canceled; I think sulz has done awesome things in that area.

  23. 26 Arpit November 5, 2008 at 12:37 am

wonderful and beautifully designed badges . i really liked the most courageous post badge( RDB …..nice one). the designer surely gets a thumbs up! :p

  25. 28 Anniyan November 5, 2008 at 8:36 am

Kudos to Chirag for a job well done! 🙂 So is it like I have to win in the specified category or just have to qualify for the finals? 😀

  26. 29 Poonam Sharma November 5, 2008 at 12:34 pm

@All: THanks for the appreciation for Chirag’s work! And he did it in least possible time with elan! 🙂 THanks again, Chirag!

@Amit: CHirag definitely deserves an award but I can’t ask him to design an award badge for himself. 🙂

@Vimal: yes, badges have undergone sea change since you last saw them. I am glad at how badges turned out. 🙂

@Ruhi: I am sure you could get that award, but I ahve somethingelse for you. 🙂

@Museditions: See my answers to Amit about Chirag’s award. 🙂

@Sulz: Yes, I too was disappointed to see that category go, but somehow there never were more than 2 nominations in that category.

  27. 30 Poonam Sharma November 5, 2008 at 12:39 pm

@Daniel’s Critical Corner: I like your confidence. 😉

@Anniyan: YOu could flaunt the badge on your blog even if you were selected for the final polls. 🙂

@Crazy Sam: It will take another week for polling to start. Judges are almost finished, it will take time for admin tasks for the same.

  28. 31 Arpit November 5, 2008 at 11:08 pm

poonam i second amit…..he should be surely awarded …….why dont you design a simple badge……. after all i feel even a simple one can express our gratitude for the work he has done for the avante garde 😛

  29. 32 Arpit November 9, 2008 at 3:42 pm

hey besides i had just like to mention that the blue colored boxes sticked to each graphic is looking out of place….maybe it could be improved upon 😛

  30. 33 Chirag November 10, 2008 at 3:47 pm

    When does polling start? 🙂

  31. 34 Ashish November 12, 2008 at 9:18 am

    GREAT WORK Chirag and Poonam

  32. 35 Vaibhav November 12, 2008 at 11:56 am

These badges are brilliant. I am so jealous of your creativity 😀

  33. 37 Poonam Sharma November 12, 2008 at 1:15 pm

@Arpit: I wish I could design. I have zilch graphic design skills. But if you have some other odea of showing appreciation, do let me know. 🙂

About the boxes, you seem to think like your sister, who said the same thing. But I thought that blue face gave the badges a distinct personality. I liked them as is. 🙂

@Chirag: Polling starts end of this week. Most judgements have been done. There will be announcements shortly.

@Ashish: YOU have a tough competition, short story category has fetched many entries. Wish ya luck! 🙂

@Vaibhav: I agree, and thanks for imparting your appreciation to Chirag. I read your recent travel posts. What a knife-carrying knave you are? 😛
