Hi guys!

Here is the final list of nominations. This has been diligently sifted through by Scrutinising Committee members: Reema, Vimal, Smita and Perx. Their criteria was to ensure that nomination rules were met. This list is ready thanks to these guys who worked under the noses of their bosses, with sore eyes and exams.

I must also thank Chirag who created badges for each category, I will upload them later.

Based on this list, I can safely say that more nominations are invited for following categories:

Blog Action Day: Poverty, Health and Population

I could not miss writing post on this day even with self-inflicted busi-ness. Blog Action Day has a good cause (never mind if you think it is community building promotion gimmick). I was reminded about it gently way beforehand. I care, and I had written a blog action day poslast year as well.

This year the subject is poverty. Google helpfully offered me keywords: Poverty in India and Poverty in Africa.

Avant Garde Bloggies Awards as been moving on successfully with contribution from all you readers. It is going forward with the help of several gracious volunteers.

Nominations have been overflowing. It has been a tremendous response. I have received about four times the maximum number of posts that will go for poll. Thank you, all!

Today is the last day of the nominations. After this, we will invite entries in only few specific categories.
