Flickr Mosiac Tag

I came across this on Lemonade’s blog. I found it interesting and did it. So here are the rules:

1. Type your answer to each of the questions below into Flickr Search.
2. Using only the first page, pick an image.
3. Copy and paste each of the URLs for the images into fd’s mosaic maker.

Here is my handiwork:

1. What is your first name?
Poonam. I found heena-ed hands and other personal pictures that I did not like. So I searched full moon that is meaning of my name. So that’s how I got this picture. Little cheating. πŸ™‚

2. What is your favorite food? Right now?
Idli-Vada-sambar, right now. That’s best I get to eat here, near my office.

3. What high school did you go to?
Kendriya Vidyalaya (previously Central School). The picture I found seems nowhere related to my swanky school. My KV was swanky as it was maintained by Army and refineries.

4. What is your favorite color?
Blue

5. Who is your celebrity crush?
I never have crush on celebrities. But maybe I can look for (now old) Pierce Brosnan. :sigh: I have to be loyal. πŸ˜›

6. Favorite drink?
Barista Blast, I have revealed that before. And I was joyed, when I actually found its picture on flickr. πŸ™‚

7. Dream vacation?
A trip to Europe (Belgium and France, inspired after reading a friend’s travelogue)

8. Favorite dessert?
Brownie with Ice Cream (I returned to my old favorite.)

9. What do you want to be when you grow up?
Writer (I do not know how much grown-up I will need to get for this.) πŸ™‚ I got a masterpiece picture for this.

10. What do you love most in life?
My family. This picture is called family portrait.

11. One Word to describe you.
Optimist

12. Your flickr name.
Happy Moon. I just made it up! They also have a Happy Spring Moon festival! See the 11th picture.

I had fun doing this. Now I tag my entire blogroll for this tag. πŸ™‚

    I liked the “Optimist” one

  2. 2 Shefaly July 9, 2008 at 4:19 pm

Interesting esp since I do not know many who would put Belgium on their wish list. πŸ™‚

Anyway, I do not have to do this since I am not on your blogroll. Yippee!

  3. 3 Joel July 9, 2008 at 5:18 pm

Well the 9th pic was something I found weird. And Kendriya Vidyalaya, bangalore right? Near the hanging bridge?

But anyways, nice tag, I have done it too.. Do check it out.

  4. 4 Reema July 9, 2008 at 6:03 pm

Turn off that Snap preview thing. Its really distracting πŸ™‚ Cheating in 1st question itself!!! v bad!! Pierce is hot! πŸ˜€ Sigh another tag! I have atleast 5 of them pending πŸ™‚

  5. 5 Nikhil July 10, 2008 at 8:39 am

Wow! This looks like fun! πŸ˜€

@Dinu: Thanks! :blushing: πŸ™‚ Yes, optimist one is optimist. πŸ™‚

@Shefaly: I have wanted to go to Belgium ever since I have been at school reading Agatha Christie. Old, bald Poirot πŸ™‚ Recently a friend too visited, I loved reading his experiences. πŸ™‚ Blogroll oversight is regretted. πŸ˜›

@Joel: I have commented on your tag. And 9th picture is a sculpture. Heere ki pehchan jauhari ko hi hoti hai πŸ˜› only an art lover may find it exotic.

@Reema: yes, snap is distracting for this picture, but bear with it this one time as it serves good for other lazy bloggers. πŸ™‚ ha ha..you will soon give me a run for my money as meme queen πŸ˜›

@Nikhil: I tag you too, and will put you on my blogroll too.

@Sakhi: yeah, you dont need to have a flickr account for this. Its all easy, copy and paste work after search. Pardon me I smiled, but only because once (not so long ago) I was just as you.

  8. 8 harshasrisri July 10, 2008 at 10:45 am

it reminded me of sticky fingers and old newspapers in a collage competition… only thing is tht its a lot more cleaner and lovely to see the work by you… hmpf! if only i too cud have done this…!!

  9. 9 Shefaly July 10, 2008 at 10:55 am

@ Poonam: I cannot recall if any of Poirot’s adventures is set in Belgium. He is Belgian but does not live there of course πŸ™‚ The only other famous Belgians – before the tennis women Henin and Clijsters – that I knew were Jean-Claude van Damme (called Muscles from Brussels) and Tin Tin and brussels sprouts (ok so these are not people but are Tin Tin or Poirot any more ‘people’?).

Brussels Centrum is pretty though. Apart from the Atomium and Waterloo, and if you are keen, Antwerp for diamonds (a town full of Sindhis, believe it or not), I could not recommend anything Belgique to anyone. So I am glad your friend writes about it with more generosity than many here could muster. πŸ™‚

  10. 10 Poonam Sharma July 10, 2008 at 11:03 am

@Harshasrisri: You too can do it as I tag you. πŸ™‚

@Shefaly: I never said Poirot’s escapades were in Belgium, they were rather in UK. But that his grey cells bore Belgian origin was good enough reason for me when I was in school. I have less interest in sports so never revered any sports icons ever. As for my friend, he visited only Brussels on his trip (his was to 4 European countries), was impressed with dresses of people there and spent most of time buying chocolates. But I was interested enough to find out for myself! I will soon publish his travelogue on my blog. πŸ™‚

  11. 11 vimal July 10, 2008 at 12:24 pm

@ Poonam : I thought I left a comment here yest. Maybe I dint submit it properly. Anyway, thanks for the tag, finished it and i must admit, I had fun!!!

  12. 12 Ashish July 10, 2008 at 5:25 pm

  14. 14 Poonam Sharma July 11, 2008 at 11:19 am

@Vimal: Thanks for doing the tag! Next time be careful about publishing the comment, I don’t want to miss comments from blogmates. πŸ™‚

@Ashish: Thanks for doing the tag, I commented. Perhaps my comment went into your spam. 😦

@RJ: Thanks for doing the tag, I commented on yours. πŸ™‚

  19. 19 Poonam Sharma July 14, 2008 at 10:40 am

@Ish: Chalo will read your long post as always! πŸ™‚

Why were you waiting to do the tag, you could have done it anyway. The writer one is sculpture, if it is not “write-ish”, I am not even sure if it can be “writer-poonam” πŸ˜›

@Amit: Chalo, will see when you do it. I too have some tags pending. 😦

@Chittaranjan: I wonder why I never came across your blog before. But thanks for the pingback, I will soon be over to your blog. πŸ™‚

@harshasrisri: I too enjoyed this tag, I will soon be over to your blog to look over your tag. πŸ™‚

@arvind: Near my office, thats best you get for breakfast: idli-vada-sambar πŸ™‚

As Shefaly points out, I want to go for Belgium (in Euro trip) which most people would skip πŸ™‚ I would not rule out possibility of flickr mosiac makers/big huge labs for this tag.

@lemonade: Thanks for stopping by and commenting here! πŸ™‚ Inspiration was from your post. πŸ™‚

  23. 23 Vaibhav July 15, 2008 at 11:16 am
