Create Your Own Postcards

I stumbled upon this Create Your Postcard website. Some of the postcard caught my attention for their messages. Here is one of them:

Postcard 1

You too can create and put your postcard up there. You can also send these card to your friends. Read the motto of this web site here at What’s the issue?

Tell me what you think of the postcards on this site?

I like that website. It’s a very different way of expressing your opinion and you know making people feel things. I read the motto of the website and it makes sense. Moreover, I like the idea of people submitting their images and others using them. Some of the images are very good. It’s good that we can think about postcards as being different from things with just pretty sceneries on them. These postcards actually make sense.

Looks cool. Internet surfers don’t have time to send a greeting card these days, i wonder if they will indulge their creativity into post cards. New innovation though !

it’s a really cool concept, something along the lines of postsecret. i love postcards, but i’m more of a collector than a maker. πŸ˜›

@Sid: It is just like viral advertising. Only here the concept is thought provoking rather than to push products. It may not be worthwhile to send postcards, only to use them as awareness.

@sulz: yes. something like postsecret. Only purpose is bit different. Lie you, I am more of a collector and react-or than creat-er. πŸ™‚

I didn’t knew that something like this existed. Its very meaningful somehow. I too collected postcards..long time back. Don’t even ask me of whom. πŸ™‚

    p.s. : Filmstars ofcourse.

It’s Simple and meaningful – There’s been collaboration of ideas, software, codes (open source) and now there’z collaboration of emotions and visual imagery!

    Not bad at all.. πŸ™‚

Wow! two Amit’s writing comments πŸ™‚

@Amit: I too collected lots of postcards of film stars. In fact, we sisters used to fight over those picture postcards.

When I graduated, I magnanimously tried to give them to my sister. Alas, she too had grown up and wouldn’t have them. πŸ™‚

@Amyth: yes, collaboration of visual imagery! But its powerful image. Can work as virals.
