What is Your Blog Readability?

I came across this is sulz‘s Bloggerdygook.

Readability of Visceral Observations is: (Yippie!) πŸ™‚

Readability of my blog at Jai Hind: Proud to be Indian is:

(Strange considering all posts on this blog are from my Visceral Observations blog.)

While the overall readability of Jai Hind blog is:

cash advance

What does this say, we need to attain elementary school readability at Jai Hind blog to gain more readers.

it’s biased! someone who commented in that post on my blog tested it on other popular sites. blogger was genius! πŸ˜•

Poonam: Yeah, I read comments in your blog. I thought this was fun. As I mentioned in my post, same posts on my two different blogs show different readability. πŸ™‚

Yea, sulz is right. There is something weird about this. I checked Google and it was genius too. Now how much schooling does it take to see “Google” written out there? πŸ˜›

Poonam: Yes, that was what that got me thinking too. But if you look at it objectively, genius is no readability level. There is no level like that. I put it up here only because this was fun. Otherwise it showed different readability for same posts on my two different blogs.

They say people need to attain Elementary School to read my blog. B@$tards, so much for all the hard work writing complicating things.

Poonam: This is a compliment. TO get elementary level reading for technical how to stuff is a wannabe thing. YOu have a assured job in instruction design and e-learning. πŸ™‚

that was just funny… I got elementary school and junior high school !

Poonam: Arre, how did ya manage that? Did you get different readability for same blog?

    Hey poonam,

Just dropped in to tell that you that I have posted a “How to” on Podcasting on my blog..

This also goes out to everyone reading this..

ALL of you are welcome to catch my podcasts and go through the “How To”.. Maybe we could have a little Podcasting community .. Let me know if anyone’s game! .. The more, the merrier after all.. πŸ™‚

And please don’t crucify me if this post reads like an advertisement! πŸ˜€

Poonam: Hey Amyth, thanks for the info. I will check your post. And feel free to advertise, after all as you once told me, collaborate and grow that is the motto. πŸ™‚

Shoot me, my blog shows college level (undergrad). ironical in the sense, that my first post was about keepin it simple…

Poonam: That readability test is not accurate. Do not worry about it! Check google in the readability test, it shows genius. And as I wrote in my post, my same posts show different readability stats on different blog as per the readability tool!
